Meet Dhruv Jurel’s Parents: Nem Singh Jurel and Rajni Jurel
Jurel was born on January 21, 2001, in Agra, Uttar Pradesh, to Nem Singh Jurel (also known as Nem Chand Jurel) and Rajni Jurel. They also have an elder daughter named Neeru Jurel.
Dhruv’s father, Nem Singh, is a retired Havildar from the Indian Army who proudly served during the historic 1999 Kargil War. His grandfather was a farmer.
Having spent years in military service, Nem Singh naturally envisioned a very different path for his son.
He hoped Dhruv would clear the National Defence Academy (NDA) exams. Secure a stable government job or join the armed forces to serve the nation.
At first, his father struggled to accept Dhruv’s obsession with cricket. However, seeing his son’s unwavering passion, Nem Singh eventually relented. Providing whatever support he could muster.
