Since her retirement, former England cricketer Alex Hartley has remained active in several areas while also regularly keeping fans updated on social media. However, her latest update was not about her career but about a conversation she had with Ireland men’s cricketer Curtis Campher.

Alex Hartley Shares Hilarous Conversation With Curtis Campher

Recently, the former English cricketer shared her chat with the Irish cricketer on her Instagram Story. In the conversation, Hartley can be seen pointing out a few typos, while Curtis Campher blamed Siri for them.

Hartley wrote, “Prior to his execution Curtis blamed Siri, and this is why @curtiscampher13 was never seen again.”

Talking about the chat, it appears to begin with a message from Hartley, with the 33-year-old writing, “Get it when I’m really run down and tired sometimes. Used to get it playing all the time.” Later, she added, “Not so much anymore.”

Replying to the message, the South African-Irish cricketer wrote, “You need a rest chunky. Wow.” After this, Hartley was seen using a laughing slang before pointing out the typo.

Campher then blamed autocorrect, saying, “Auto correct is trying to get me killed. Proper stitch up that.”

It is unclear exactly what the two were talking about or what the context of the conversation was, as Hartley has not shared any further details about it. However, it is clear that the former cricketer was simply pointing out the typo in the message.

Talking about Hartley and Campher’s friendship, it began in 2022 when Ireland defeated England in a T20 World Cup match, after which Curtis appeared on Hartley’s podcast. The two also interacted off-camera following their on-camera interaction. Around the same time, rumours about their relationship began circulating on social media, which Hartley later clarified.

Talking about the podcaster, she married Cee-Jay Da Fonte in early September 2026, while the 27-year-old cricketer Curtis Campher is in a relationship with Dayna Thackrah.
