Boycott recently opened up on “Stick to Cricket” about his soft spot for India’s star all-rounder, delivering a verdict that’s equal parts hilarious and endearing.
“Ball’s beautiful, and his feeling is electric. He can bat. Gets his head down. He can bat properly. And he’s a handsome so and so,” Boycott declared.
Recalling a recent encounter, Boycott revealed how he met the Saurashtra star face-to-face during a trip to India.
“I met him (Ravindra Jadeja) for the first time recently. Last year I went to India, and I met him. I remember, I just watched him,” Boycott added. “I said, ‘You’re my favourite.’ Said, ‘No,’ he couldn’t believe it. I said, ‘Definitely.’
“I love him. And he’s very handsome. India and nicely. Just a good cricketer, isn’t it? All-round cricketer.”
