Ashleigh Gardner and Monica Wright’s marriage has already ended, but the drama surrounding their lives continues. It has taken a new turn since, especially after the Australian all-rounder’s ex-wife’s serious allegations and demand that her vice-captaincy be taken away.

Now, Wright appears to be focusing on self-love and giving herself importance.

Ashleigh Gardner’s Ex-Wife Monica Wright Shifts Focus to Herself

Wright has been in the limelight since her comments, and fans can now notice through her Instagram activity that she appears to be embracing self-love.

The blogger recently shared Instagram stories, including one in which she mentioned taking herself out to dinner.

“Taking myself out to dinner,” Wright said.

Although the cricketer’s ex-wife did not reveal much about the location or her dinner date, in her video story, she was simply seen walking before sharing another story featuring a beautiful view.

Whether Gardner and Georgia Voll’s reported relationship is true or just a rumour, one thing is clear: Wright has shown that after feeling “cheated,” her current focus is on herself.

When discussing the 29-year-old Australian women’s cricketer’s reported relationship with Voll, it was Wright who first brought the matter into the spotlight during July 2026.

Sharing Georgia’s picture, Wright wrote, “This is who my wife cheated on me with…” Following this, criticism poured in, and some people began to believe that something was going on between Gardner and Voll.

Despite efforts by the Daily Mail, neither Gardner nor Georgia Voll has spoken publicly about their relationship or responded to the allegations.

Although there was a period of silence surrounding the controversy, Wright broke that silence again by speaking out against Cricket Australia.

According to some reports, Gardner and Voll’s relationship allegedly began during the 2025 Women’s ODI World Cup in India. Interestingly, it was during this period that Wright was also seen supporting the Australian cricketer during the tournament.
