Filling in Stephen Fleming’s shoes might be a difficult task. But it seems Khan has MS Dhoni’s and CSK’s confidence.

But the news quickly spread on social media, and the fans were quick to react to it. Many were shocked, and almost everyone was admiring the decision.

One fan wrote, “Only CSK can pull a rabbit out of a hat! No one – absolutely No One – no pundit, no formal player, sports YT gnanis saw this coming. This is how you keep a secret 🤫. Fantastic.”

Another fan appreciated the decision, albeit with a sarcastic flavor. “Are you serious.? How did we get sensible all of a sudden.?” They wrote.

One user simply wrote, “Wtff 🤯🤯”

A fan pointed out Khan’s coaching resume and recent stints with MI and LSG. They commented, “Zaheer Khan has closely worked with MI and LSG as coach. He is a very good coach.”

Another fan wrote in a similar tone, “worked for LSG… May this be fruitful 👍”

Lastly, another one replied, “Wow, completely out of nowhere! Never expected Zak in yellow, let’s see how the Left Arm ‘Takes’ over!” 🤯💛”

The decision might be a cultural shift for the CSK. From the franchise’s calm, calculated culture to Khan’s patent aggressive nature. It’s an entirely new chapter for the yellow army.
