McCaughan was also seen reading out some cherished words for Bouchier.
McCaughan said, “In July, I presented the PCA player of the month award to our very own Bouchier. After the incredible run of form she continued to dominate, scoring around 1,000 runs for Hampshire this season.”
“You’ve now been shortlisted for PCA Women’s Player of the Year. It couldn’t be more deserved. We’re all so proud of you, so congratulations,” she added.
After making the announcement, McCaughan moved towards Bouchier and hugged her, while the Hampshire Women’s team started clapping and cheering for the 27-year-old.
